6 Tech Occupations In-Demand: OINP issues invitations!

The latest Ontario PNP Tech Draws was held on 1st Aug 2019 with the CRS scores of minimum 435 wherein 1773 applications received the Notifications of Interest under the IT Occupations for Canadian Immigration. This is the second draw by this new stream which was launched in July 2019 with the sole motive to target the Information Technology centric Skilled Professionals.

What does the trend suggest?

Going by the statistics, if we look at the current trend in the Ontario PNP Tech Draws, we can clearly substantiate that the number of invitations has increased rapidly with decreasing Comprehensive Ranking System score. In the first draw held on 12th July 2019, the number of invitations were 1623 applications but in the second draw held on 1st Aug 2019 the number increased to 1773 applications. The trend evidently states that, in the upcoming draws we can expect the staggering figures and more approvals for the IT Skilled Professionals.

  • Computer and Information Systems Managers – NOC 0213
  • Computer Engineers – NOC 2147
  • Database Analysts and Data Administrators – NOC 2172
  • Software Engineers and Designers – NOC 2173
  • Computer Programmers and Interactive Media Developers – NOC 2174
  • Web Designers and Developers – NOC 2175

So, this is a high time and all the IT professionals whose profile falls under the aforementioned National Occupational Classification (NOC) Occupation List with relevant experience, should apply for the OINP Tech Stream.

What is Ontario PNP Tech Stream?

Ontario PNP Tech Stream reviews and explores the eligible profiles from the Express Entry pool within the IT related occupations. All the profiles and applications are carefully reviewed, then provincial govt. declares the OINP Tech Express Entry invitation round draws followed by the Notification of Interest.

The program is specifically designed to attract the IT Skilled Professional from across the globe to fill the labor shortage in Canada. The figures are projected that around 220,000 skilled workers will be required in Information & Communication Technology sector of Canada by the year of 2021.
