South Australia unfolds skilled migration program for onshore and offshore applicants

If you are skilled migrant living in the southern region of Australia and meet the states as well as federal requirements are eligible to apply for state nomination if they looking to migrate to Australia as a permanent resident. Occupations like physiotherapist, audiologist, occupational therapist and speech pathologist were opened by the migration program of the state during 2020-2021.

Now offshore applicants who are interested to have access to the benefits of Australia PR once they come here should Registration of Interest (RoI) for state nominations for the Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa Subclass 491 and on the other hand even onshore candidates can submit their interest for permanent residence in Australia via Subclass 491 and the Skilled Nominated Visa also known as Subclass 190 visa.

All you need to do is get sufficient points, which is a minimum of 65 points or more on the Australia points system. Those skilled migrants who are currently residing in South Australia which is inclusive of the long term ones as well as those who meet the eligibility criteria as designed by the state government and the Australian Department of Home Affairs.

They can furthermore apply for state nomination under the categories namely International Graduate of South Australia, Talent and Innovators Program as well as those ones who are currently working in South Australia which also encompass the ones living for the long term in Australia.

The government if Australia though offers exemptions to candidates who live and work in outer as well as regional part of South Australia. Once the candidates who want to migrate to Australia receive their state nomination they can very well apply for the Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa Subclass 491 (five-year visa) and the Skilled Nominated Visa Subclass 190 (permanent visa).

But offshore applicants will need to submit an ROI which showcases their skills in particular trades and health-related occupations as well as present test results demonstrating their proficiency in English language.
