Australia proposes a clear PR pathway for International Students
Australia is planning to implement a clearer pathway to permanent residency for International Students.
- The joint standing committee on Migration suggested several recommendations to the Australia’s Skilled Migration Programme.
- They proposed changing the current Post-Study work provision for graduates who meet the criteria.
- Those graduates will be eligible for a discount on the work experience component for Australia permanent residency under the employer nominated scheme from three years to two years.
- Australia lost around half a million temporary workers since the implementation of travel restrictions. Around 77,000 people expected to leave Australia in 2021-22 financial year.
To create more opportunities in the country, the committee has recommended more incentives for migrants to move to regional Australia and retain International Students. You Can Contact us at +91 8595338595 Or [email protected]
