491 Visa – Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa

Subclass 491 is for skilled foreign nationals nominated by a state or territory agency in Australia or a family member in regional Australia who wishes to sponsor them. The visa allows applicants to work and live in regional areas in Australia for up to 5 years.

491 Visa comprises two streams:

• Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa – Main applicant
• Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa- subsequent entrant, family stream
