With this strategy, Atlantic Canada will be is well positioned to be a key player in this move toward cleaner energy and have access to a broad range of energy sources.
  • Atlantic Canada will now produce and use more clean power in the region, while ensuring that electricity remains both reliable and affordable for all businesses and households across Atlantic Canada.
  • The Atlantic governments have come up together to develop a Clean Power Roadmap for Atlantic Canada. This roadmap will outline a collective vision for how jurisdictions can collaborate to build a clean power network across the region by creating a system-wide plan that will provide economic and environmental benefits.

FOOD INDUSTRY TO BE BENEFITTED

  • Food Industry of Atlantic Canada is one of the region’s largest economic engines. In 2017, Atlantic Canada exported more than $6.1 billion in food and seafood to markets worldwide, an increase of close to 8 percent since 2015.
  • Governments have shown a positive indication of commitment to work with Atlantic Canada’s seafood, food, and food-processing industries to achieve higher growth and help companies seize more export and growth opportunities.

All these announcements are completely focused to bring maximum investment in the Atlantic Provinces to create abundant employment opportunities which will be sufficed by the Atlantic Immigration Pilot ProgramIn order to fill the skill gap, Atlantic Provinces will now focus on the immigration to invite skilled profession from all around the world.
