Skilled Occupation List Australia: High-Priority Jobs in-Demand
Amid the pandemic, Australia’s labor market requirements have changed considerably, and the demand for foreign workers in certain occupations that can support economic recovery has risen. - ANZSCO 254422: Registered Nurse – Mental Health
- ANZSCO 254423: Registered Nurse – Perioperative
- ANZSCO 254499: Registered Nurses
- ANZSCO 261312: Developer Programmer
- ANZSCO 261313: Software Engineer
- ANZSCO 272511: Social Worker
- ANZSCO 312911: Maintenance Planner
The list was first created in September 2020 and then updated in November 2020 and then in May 2021. So, this is a temporary list that will change as the economic recovery begins. Visa occupations of people whose occupations are on the PMSOL will be processed on priority who received sponsorship by an Australian employer. Priority processing will apply to candidates under the following Australia PR Visa and temporary residence visa categories:
- Subclass 186: Employer Nomination Scheme Visa
- Subclass 187: Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme Visa
- Subclass 482: Temporary Skill Shortage Visa
- Subclass 494: Skilled Employer-Sponsored Regional (Provisional) Visa
